Evo Positive Energy – Citris Bliss Review
Everyone is doing the skinny can these days
I picked up this blue beauty at my local Seven-Eleven, noticing that it was following a developing trend in energy drinks in going back to using sugar and ditching heavy amounts of stimulants. Evo is also a local Utah company, so I figured that I should give them a shot and try this out.
The drink smells like any number of citrus sodas, somewhere between Sprite and 7-Up. The taste is quite similar too, almost like Sprite but with a faint energy-drink finish. The aftertaste is not bad at all, nothing like your standard every drinks, and better than normal sodas or ‘enhanced sodas.’
The sugar is a little high at 32g per 12 oz can, but they also throw in some bromelain, green tea extract (for your antioxidants) and plenty of vitamins. Overall, this is an excellent alternative to an energy drink or a soda for an afternoon pick-me-up.
